I sketched this guy up a few months ago and I've been itching to get at him. I was totally inspired by
John W. Golden's textured style. It's going to take a bit of going back and forth to figure out what I want out of this piece, so I'll be posting the updates as they come. Here's the original sketch.
And here's tonight's color job. I laid in some flat color and then went back in with some texture, because I just can't resist. I'm crazy about a set of Photoshop brushes from
Chris Oatley. He just might be changing my life and not even know it... Anyway, I'll keep you updated on the progress!
