A Valentine-a-Day: Day 4 Ticket Valentine

Print out these Valentine's Day tickets to give your Valentine something that can't be wrapped up or folded in an envelope. Use double-stick tape to attach a little treat to the heart space!

I paired these Valentine's Day Tickets with heart shaped chocolates and used them to let my kids know they were going to do Valentine crafts after school that day.

A Valentine-a-Day: Day 3 Valentine Bookmark

This year the kids' teachers got cute bags with assorted chocolates and these super sweet bookmarks, complete with a thumbprint cherry on top.

There is a perfectly blank spot at the top of the cupcakes that is just the right size for a little fingerprint. So use your little one's finger to stamp a cherry with a red or pink ink pad. Each kid wrote their own names on the back along with the teacher's name. You could write a note right on the front in the space between the text and the cupcake.

I laminated the sheets of bookmarks with my handy laminating machine and then cut out each bookmark along the lines. You don't have to do this step, especially if you've printed them out of good heavy card stock, but I love the resiliency of a well laminated paper product.

ALTERNATIVE TO LAMINATING MACHINE: Packing Tape. I've been doing this FOREVER. Seriously. I used to laminate EVERYTHING in high school and college this way. Cut strips to packing tape larger than the length of the bookmarks. Lay them vertically along the columns of bookmarks on the single sheet of paper you've printed with a 1/8" overlap. Then do the same on the back. Be sure to cover past the edges of the bookmarks. Burnish (or rub the tape down hard) with the back of a spoon or something smooth with no sharp edges. Then trim them out along the lines just as you would if it was laminated out of a machine. BOOM!

You could punch a hole at the top and then thread a tassel or ribbon through for a little extra fun. We ran out of time (translation: I was up until 2 in the morning laminating and trimming so I had to cut corners somewhere). We packaged the bookmarks up in some heart decorated goodie bags with heart shaped chocolates. A perfectly simple, quick, and personal Valentine for a book lover or teacher in your life.

A Valentine-a-Day: Day 2 Space Fish Bag Topper

For Day 2 of A Valentine-a-Day I created this zip top bag tag to go along with Space Goldfish Crackers (and FYI according to my 6 year old they taste better than the regular kind).

Click HERE or on the image below to download this FREE printable page for yourself. Print out the PDF on card stock or heavy weight paper, cut out toppers, fold along the dotted lines and staple over the tops of snack size zip top plastic bags.

A Valentine-a-Day: Day 1 TRIX Bag Topper

Valentine's Day is by far my favorite holiday. I love taking the opportunity to spoil my kids and husband with a little bit extra, well, love!

Last year I started the tradition of giving them all a special Valentine every day for the week leading up to Valentine's Day. Tomorrow the kids are getting these for snack...

"You're all that and a bag of Trix"

Now that General Mills is making Trix with no artificial flavors, colors or high fructose corn syrup I don't feel so bad giving them this super sugary but super colorful treat.

I'm using this Valentine for my kids, but it would work wonderfully for a not-so-mushy school and friends Valentine. In fact, you can download it for FREE only though my Educents store HERE.

I'm sharing it in my Educents store because, well, I love Educents, and because they're throwing a fun "Share the Love" promotion from February 7th through the 13th. They are giving away $200 in Educents Bucks, $50 worth of Scholastic books, and a Times Tale DVD.

You can enter to win by visiting one of the participating stores, making a purchase from one of those stores, and/or by sharing their shops and #EducentsLove through social media. Check out the Educents blog for more details.

So hurry up and grab my FREE printable Valentine's Day zip bag topper and give someone a little extra love this week.
