Clip Art Set: April Icons and FREE Coloring Page

This post is a little late in coming. I got a bit distracted in packing for my beach vacation with the hubs. You can't blame me for getting a little excited, right?

Well, I'm back with more than a bit of a tan, a new clip art set, and a freebie butterfly coloring page.

But first, here are some obligatory photos from our trip to the beaches of Punta Cana.

I spent my quiet time doing some business planning and brainstorming (thanks to Kelli Alaina's "Get it Done with Grace" free business e-course http://bit.ly/FreeProductivityCourse) from this spot...

And this spot...

Most importantly I spent lots of quality time with this fellow...

So Happy April! Here is the latest addition to my Monthly Icons series. You can grab it in either my Teachers Pay Teachers or Educents stores for FREE through the month of April.

Don't forget to grab this super cute FREE butterfly coloring page, too! You can download this beauty HERE.

Printable: December Icons

Happy Holidays!  It's December and at my house we have started a new calendar which means new icons to create a pattern and write numbers on.  I think these are particularly perfect for gift tags!  For the perfect stocking stuffer for a little one print these out onto card stock (or print on regular paper and use spray adhesive to back the paper with some pretty scrapbooking paper).  Then cut along the lines, wrap with fun gift wrap and stick in stocking.

Printable: November Icons

Happy November!  I've made another set of Monthly Icons for you to enjoy.  I'm thinking of making these into part of a clip-art set for purchase in my future Etsy store, so I'm sure you'll be seeing them again.

Click on the link HERE to download the PDF.

This time I created a grid so you can cut the icons out as 3x3 inch squares or freehand cut them (as I like to do but it takes way more time).  We'll be using them first as calendar icons where we create a pattern so each day the kids have to tell me the day's number and what part of the pattern it is.  As a grid these can make a fun matching game set.  You can cut them out and add them to place settings or dish labels at the Thanksgiving feast. I'd love to see how you use them!

Here's what I did last year for the Monthly Icons.  They're still cute but boy, have I stepped it up a notch!

As usual, these are free for personal or classroom use only.  They are not to be used for retail for commercial purposes without my written permission.

Printable: October Icons

Would you look at that, just a few days into the month and I have the calendar icons ready!  Enjoy a download of my October Icons as part of your seasonal decor.  As usual, the icons are 2.5" tall and vary in width.  Click on the image below to download!

Printable: September Icons

I've finally gotten back into the habit of doing a calendar with the kiddos.  Here are some printable September icons for your personal use.  They're about 2.5" in either direction.  We like to cut them out, write a number on it for the day, and stick it to the whiteboard calendar.  I like to keep the four year old thinking by creating a pattern for him to figure out.  With the leftover icons I just might make a mini banner, or leave little notes around the house for them, or do a September themed matching or memory game.  The possibilities are endless!  Enjoy!

UPDATE!
7/26/15
You can now download these icons as PNG clip art! They are available as one of my Calendar Icon sets in my Teachers Pay Teacher and Educent shops.

Printable: March Icons - St. Patrick's Day and Easter

Here are some icons I created for our calendar at home.  There is a page of four-leaf clovers and a pot of gold for St. Patrick's Day.  For Easter there is a page of assorted eggs and another of one happy chick.  Each of the icons is between 2 1/4 and 2 3/4 inch tall.  They are perfect for kids play with patterns, to decorate the house, or as adorable cupcake toppers when taped to the end of a toothpick.  Let me know how you end up using them!  Click on each image to download or download the whole set HERE.

Printable: February Icons

Every month I create little graphics to use on our calendar.  I create a pattern with them and write the number of the day with a thick Sharpie.  My three year old loves counting the days and figuring out the pattern.  Here's a free printable page of our February icons.  They're about 2 1/4 inches tall.  They would make great mini valentines or for little love notes.  Click on the image or HERE to download.
